When withdrawing funds from the FunPay account balance, you will face a 48-hour withdrawal delay, regardless of whether you are a buyer or a seller.

This period is calculated from the moment the funds are on your account balance. For example, if you are a seller and received funds for selling an item: in case the funds are on your account balance for 7 hours, then the funds withdrawal will be delayed for 41 hours (48 - 7 = 41).

It is important to note that if the funds from two orders are "merged", the withdrawal delay will be the maximum possible, when withdrawing the whole amount of money. You can withdraw the funds in parts to avoid maximum delay: for example, if you received 100 USD/RUB/EUR from one operation and 50 USD/RUB/EUR from the other one, you can make two withdrawals: for 100 USD/RUB/EUR and for 50 USD/RUB/EUR. In this case, the delay of the first withdrawal will be less than the delay of the second one.

If you are a seller on FunPay: withdrawal delay should be disabled in order to pay with your account balance or you shouldn’t have transactions as a seller in the past 48 hours.

If you are not a seller on FunPay, then you will face no delays in paying for purchases with your account balance.

The reasons for such measures are the following: firstly, to counteract various types of financial fraud (mainly related to carding), and secondly, to counteract those who sell various "illegal" items. For example, it can be virtual game property obtained through account hacking: we know from the practice that 48 hours are enough for the game support to take appropriate measures. Accordingly, the buyer submits a claim to the seller, and we manage to return the money. Due to these measures, there are almost no scammers on FunPay.

The delay can be disabled by confirming your identity. You can find up-to-date information on this matter here: https://funpay.com/account/identification

Unfortunately, sometimes requests for delay disabling are not satisfied. If your account meets the conditions that we cannot disclose, the delay will not be disabled. This way the administration tries to prevent fraud. On average, we reject about 3% of all requests.

The administration can disable withdrawal delay for some users without asking them to confirm their identity. The decision is based on the account parameters. A user cannot ask the administration to do this: if a user contacts the administration with this request, it will be denied.
